Here are some life drawings I did yesterday. This is the first time I have been able to post some because I just got a digital camera. It is great! I need to get a bigger smart media card though... Anyways Crits and Comments are welcome and aprecciated.

HRmm.. I don't know much about life drawing, but just helping you get this up so more qualified people can talk about it.
Looking from your drawings, I think you maybe need to slow down a bit on the speed or either reduce the number of pencil marks. At some areas it seems your just scribbling over and over. the point of figuredrawing/gesture drawing to what I understand is to convey a sense of motion and focus more on the contours and curves rather than the shading itself.
Now lets just take a look at a few examples.
Joachims Stuff(more publicity for good ol joachim... sorry guys, he's the only site i knew right off the bat that had figure studies )
You'll notice that each drawing that's done by joachim conveys a sense of... well motion.. and yet, it's suprisingly simple.
