just found that link to the online version of andrew loomis figure drawing book...
wow...in my eyes he's so much more inspiring than hogarth. which doesn't mean that you can't learn from him a lot too ...I admire both of course .
ok...here's from me another little attempt in trying to learn more about the female...erm...whatever

Critz: Either the legs are too short or the hands are too long .

hey thanks
you're right...but not only the proportions are wrong in the lower part. i don't like the dress - she's supposed to be walking, but it doesn't look like that. maybe I'll fix it, I like how the face and hair turned out. I think I haven't drawn a face which looked that female before . |

It looks like she's walking.. on her knees, as the artist it's kind of hard to see things like this when you're doing it sometimes So take it slow , that's one thing I try to do is critic my own art like someone else would before I turn to others. |
