And now, for something completely different. Different for me, at least.
Once, the lineart for it was to be a tattoo... but not any more.
Thing took ages to finish. Not because it's an especially deep picture, but because it's been a relatively shitty month. This is not so much my latest picture as it is a temporary bandage on the festering wound of day to day life in general.
So there.

Personally i think it's awesome. I really like the pale look to it, and the feathers are really cool. Normally when i'm having a bad time i draw very negative, and dark things...*shrugs shoulders*... When you hit bottom, where have you got left to go, but up?  That probably makes no sense at all.  |

mellowsmoothe: Thanks. No, the picture has no meaning to me at all, which is another reason why I was so unmotivated with it. As I said, it was originally for a tattoo... somebody else asked me if I could draw an angel.

| I know I'm not really worthy enough to give a critique, but I have a bit of problems with the red ribbon. The waves look too "squarish" and don't seem to flow enough. |

It's just wonderful. You've proven that you CAN draw something else than what you usually do - even if you don't like doing it. I recognise the feeling, actually. Don't draw what's not close to your heart =)
