Hey, I dig that first pic! It's got a cool War of the Worlds vibe to it. You should do a series of those. As for the second pic, YEEEHAW!!! Umm, I guess that's not a very skaterly thing to say. Cool pose. |

I really like that skateboard one. I can't quite put my finger on why. Probably a balanced composition thing. Looks real too. |

Both are very nice
But I think that in the first image you should have used of more perspective to make the guy look like a big mean type alien being. The jets in the back.. I can't really seem to put my finger on it, but it seems as though they don't seem that "big" or "far away" .. I never really experimented with such perspective, thus I can't really point out: "Ok, this is what you did wrong, here is how to fix it." but something still strikes my eye as in "not so accurate".
The second one is very nice too, even though I sort of despite skateboarding in general, because the word skateboard is too much associated with "coolness" for my taste. But I do enjoy a good ride of Tony Hawk 2 on my Dreamcast because the game is really well built. I really like the way you made the guy really seem like he's landing down (helmet strap floating upwards, arms in landing mode sort of, etc).
Even though I didn't really reply to your other threads, whenever I see a new thread by you I always check it out.
Keep up the good work!
