well, yeah, nothing much. This was the second rough cover consept I did. Actually, this is what we went for, but with cleaning up and a changed new background. I can post the finished cover in a couple of days. It looks better as finished

nothing much but....

*and the logo is in norwegian, saying "blue-mountain" ....-and I did not make the logo.

whoa this one i like.
although the logo is getting lost in the darkness (does it have to have that glow?).
just make sure the girl doesn't start to look threatening with that light setting :)

the character is nice, makes me wanna paint. Oh and people like that can only be found in scandinavia.

hmm I don't like the logo either, can't make out what its supposed to say.. but your painting looks nice Joachim. I think your style is developing nicely

I hate the title. Gah. evil die die die title! I keep thinking the blue mountain is referring to the girlies hat. hehehe. Other than that, I always like how most of your paintings focus on the face

The image is very good, but the logo doesn't match the same quality because it's too flat and the glow around it is bad imho.

I like that impish little face.

I look forward to seeing the final cover. Do you start with pencils/computer lines or do you jump in with color and bring out the image with that without pre laying it out? I'm interested in how others do their concept color work for speed and yet quality. I have a tendency to kind of skip the drawing portion which sometimes bites me in the ass. Don't forget to post the final!
