I'm suprised no one has responded to this ext. It's quite evocative (and quite scary). I'd just pay abit more attention to the values as there is no real point of focus for the eye. Might wanna just watch the saturation as well (the whole thing is becoming very dark blue). Good work and hope to see more :-)

Now that is pretty nice... I love the colour on the skull..

Values yes, but it depends whether you are going for a painting or some sort of image manip... Values are still important for both, but more so for the painting direction.. it does need some sort of a focus... I would suggest you pick an important element and apart from changing values, reorganise it... change the composition.. it needs something to tie it all together. Maybe you could try reducing the amount of variables in the pic, you have an illustration.. round shapes, wavy shapes, textural shapes. You could try focusing on maybe only three.

Also the problem with values, is also related to the sharpness and opacity. You have most of your elements at 100% on each layer? (some exceptions) maybe some transparency but not enough... it needs some areas that are void of information, not sharp like it is, very busy at the moment. Instead desaturated and changed values, with a muting of some information.

Really nice skull.. I might do a remix if you dont mind? I'll go right ahead and if you dont approve I'll remove it. Better get to work..

Thanks for the responses!
This was really an experiment, been trying to work in different direction lately. I do think some of my work tends to look too saturated, the layers aren't at 100%, actually I rarely put things at 100%, but there are a lot of layers, and I think thats what makes them look too saturated.
I am not quite sure what I am working towards yet. Looking forward to seeing your "remix"

Is this photominip or drawings? Anyhoo, it is very good. I really like it, and who doesn't? Especially cause it's blue!

Nice picture.
Allthough I must agree on the focal part.
How abot giving the skull a devilish red colour? maybe cropping some of the skull and place it at the outermost right side of the frame? that is if you want a more design like appeal...
