Hi all

You are looking @ a contact sheet for a project I've recently completed. These images were developed in PS, then composited in AfterFX. The output was a 5 Min animatic, with an animated title sequence and lots of panning, zooming and dissolving. The end result is still quite static, but it's amazing the difference the right piece of music can make.

If any is interested in seeing more, the images can be found here.

Thanks for looking!

Looks interesting visual myriad! The colors are fantastic. Most of these pics reminds me space flight sim, Descent freespace 2 or something like that.

Thank you all for your kind comments and for replying

Tepox: I'll have to check it out. I don't play games much but probably should have looked into them for research purposes (yeah, that's it...) before starting this work.

Agent44: the project is my own conception. I created it on spec hoping to generate interest from some of the local observatories. If nothing happens, I'll try overseas (probably US first). Tutorial??? I don't remember anything about a -- oh. Sorry, almost finished. Tomorrow?

Awetopsy: Thanks for the interest. Unfortunately, the work files are only 720 x 589 which is PAL broadcast resolution. The only bigger files were for the panning and tilting shots and those backgrounds can be downloaded from my website link above. Sorry...

Sumaleth: there is some amazing solar art out there. Glad you liked these.

Jezebel/Prolix: thanks very much for the kind words.

Nice. I also love solar renders too.

Do it all yourself?! thats a lot of work. The research you would have to do!

Unfortunately the (Mt Cootha Planetarium) observatory in Brisbane where I live, is likely to shut-down soon, they say that they aren't making enough money to keep it running.. just warning you incase you contact them and wonder why they reject your project. Still can't harm to try, I dont know all the details about their problem...

Collosimo: Yeah, lot's and lot's of research. But Astronomy is so mindblowing and spectacular that it just inspired me (and filled my head with lot's of imagery). There's a second lot I'm working on, which I can hopefully spend more time on, as these were all done very quickly). Good to see a fellow aussie on the board. Thanks for the tip on the Brissie planetarium...

Tepox/Jezebel: I just wanted to make a special mention here. I'm so happy that you got so much pleasure out of the images. It's responses like yours that keep me doing this stuff for a living! I made a special wallpaper to thank you. You've made my day
