I had been waiting to post something dynamic for the first time on this board, but today, I decided to give in and settle for this. It's a sketch I did last night of Alyssa Milano just for the heck of it. I would post a reference but I cant since I just used memories.
Gotta love the basics of pencil and paper. |

Yep, I agree with all that Magicman says..
Nice for a memory sketch, I could never do that good from memory..
The shadow on her right side of the nose is a little strange. It is too sharp especially once past the nose, it should probbly feahter out a bit. I can see why you added it, for a clarity of form, and it does this by making the nose stick out from the face, a kind of separation. However you dont always need to do that. I am wondering what it would look like without such a contrast or line and shading. It may take away the character of her face possibly, that would not be what you were gong for. Experiment a bit...
Just some thoughts... Nice sketch |

Hey, thanks for good words guys. I agree about the shadow on nose. But actually I don't think it is so much the contrast of the nose so much as the darkess across her upper jaw. And too after thinking about it a bit more, I realize her eyebrows are wrong too. I'll half to fix both of those I think. |
