Here's a quick cover consept idea I did for our current game. Strange to make a cover this early in the process, but we've set visual style allready, so it just fun and no risk.
Anyway, this was one of the cover ideas that was not chosen.

hehe, oh yeah, I forgot to say. The logo is written "blfjell" which means "blue-mountain"...but this is a norwegian product, so most of you guys can probably not understand what it says
-and, I didn't design the logo, it's originally from the a movie, so it's a brand and I'm not allowed to change that. |

Thanks for the replies people. NOt much but I guess I'm just postin whatever that is in front of me these days
Actually, the game is not what most of you would think of as a "game". Because this is based on a kids movie in norway, and the it's more like a "family entertainment" product...though I hate that word. But, for me it's more fun that whatever I've worked on before, since I get to draw, paint and model all the time, which is what I love. And, games is usually 80% of getting things to work and you usually need to sacrifice to get things to work in the gaming enviroment, I feel that I waste a lot of time on what I like to do.
just some quickie answers...
-tepox-, erhm, actually the mountain is supposed to be small. It's a small magical mountain they live in somewhere on the northpole. But, I don't like making exscuse, so I will take in the critics anyway
dives, what are you talking about...IGI ?
anyway, personally I think that game looks rather ok...atleast I don't think that many games had the same outdoor look at the time it was released....but maybe you had a bad pc or set the graphic level to low...or maybe you just think it looks crap, I don't don't know but I don't really care either. About what you think about the gameflow I really don't give a flying f***, becasue I'm an artist and that's what I do, I'm no "game-creator" and I would feel that I waste my time to even take any attention to how the game actually works. But, even though how little I care, it sold well and that means a lot more than your constructive comment. -thank you. |

Oh that brings to mind.. I really liked the concept stuff posted here but i think the art in the game itself sucked like hell.. besides the game itself did not run too well and the AI blowed... but the concept art was good |
