This board is depressing for me cause I know I'd get good if I found the time to paint with photoshop more. I spend all day on a computer at work and by the time I get home sitting down and drawing is too hard.
anyway heres something I found the time to do
please crit, thanks all. |

Very nice! Like the faintly 'brushy' stroken you've got going. The image seems a little bit bright - could it be that your monitor is a little bit dark? Or do you work in a room with strong ambient light?
The only other thing that seems to be missing is a bit of a shadow under the gazelle.
All in all, a very nice image IMHO!
Cheers,

Looks like you have killed the adobe gamma loader i your startup... It happened to me accidentally.
Just open the recycle bin and you'll probably find it in there, so restore it.
I am geussing that you fix the adobe gamm inside photoshop, then it is fine until you use the comp again the next time? then it reverts to wacky gamma.
Other than that check that adobe gamma has the right monitor name set to your monitor and that all the settings are right...
Hope you fix it. Btw Gazelle looks brightish, but not too bad... nice pic, like Loki said, good work with the custom brush. |

It is nice, but some how looks rather stiff! May be it has just smelled a lioness creeping throught the grass and so is on full alert; although it has its tail up, and I thought that they only really did that when taking a dump?!?
