Hahahaha, Pat!

I'm gonna have to go with hygiene... because if someone has bad hygiene you can just forget about getting to know me because I won't stand anywhere near ya. *chuckles*

I realized that what I said above isn't necessarily the most "desirable"... it's just the most important I suppose. (important because the other more smooshy things like "a good heart" don't matter if someone has only 3 blackened, rotting teeth in their mouth. I would just never get past the first conversation with someone who obviously cared nothing about themselves)

"desirable" would probably be... hmmm.... yeah, I'll go with compassion too. :]

jeez, there are so many without which good points are almost useless. For instance, if someone has compassion but no intelligence, then I may not mind the person, but I can't really have the person as a close friend, because I can't talk to the person. If a person is smart but an @$$hole, I'll make fun of him(yes, I will, I'm mean). But if a person is average in every other way, but could stand out in one aspect, I'd choose wisdom.

There's really too many for me to list...probably why I've been single for so long...but I'll go with an open mind, just for the sake of argument. I can't stand close-minded people.

well, i'm currently seeking mutual empathy. the ability to understand what the other person is going through is very important.

as for physical traits, I have a thing for eyes...
some muscle...
umm...
cheekbones...
hmm...^_~

oh, and definitely hygiene. and no cologne!!! god, I hate the smell of cologne.

I think the best one is acceptance. I accept people for who they are not what they have or what others have told me, and I want that in return.

Hygiene is a def.

Also someone who has no problem spending time with me, but not too much time it smothers me (harder than you think).

And a know-it-all isn't happening. no one in this world knows everything about everything. And I hate it when people think they know and sware they are right, but you know for a fact they are wrong.

Phsically I'm not too worried about. Although the first thing I notice is the person's eyes. They say everything about that person.

It has to be hygiene and kindness. Without those, the rest just means nothing.

for me I'd say to be loved in return and honesty and trust but to stick with desirable I'd say physical appearance is secondary but the way the mouth moves when he talks is appealing and his eyes eyes need to be compassionate and real.Real?

artistic and weird like me... somone who isn't afraid to be himself...I think having similar goals and interests is very important. Looks are important, but do fall in second...but unfortunatly I am a very visual person and if I cant stand to look at the guy there is a problem there. Its not that im shallow I just look at everything with an aesthetic eye.

Genuine intelligence, not faked I-can-recite-law-books intelligence, reasoning emotional and logical intelligence. (dated far too many girls that lack intelligence grr me maybe I should acquiret intelligence too)

As for more minor things, acceptance (since I'm particularly strange in a rather rigid portion of society here or so I'm told) and a good bit of humour and, if we're allowed to get physical, great eyes and hair especially if they know what they're doing with their dyes.

Interesting note on the hygiene thing, in my drawing class several of the girls go crazy over the scent of the homemade hand lotion I wear. It is very amusing to suddenly find a girl sniffing your hands.

Hrmm ... mayhap I should've worded it differently. But still, it feels like one of those stereotypical conan pictures with me sitting on this high chair and these two beautiful girls crouched down sniffing my hands. It is all I can do not to laugh in class! That probably made the mental images for you even worse.
