i like it, i will change the background soon, still working on it, but since the damn thing took 13 hours to render with brazil r/s i think it is worth putting the image into this section....

please crit and comment

well, its rendered using the Brazil rendering system on a dinoPII300....

whee, i like how it looks so small, despite being so big. it's got the air of an action man commercial, size and material-wise.

I like it very much, but the colours are too primary for my liking.

Also, to cut down on render times, try rendering without the DOF - then add it in photoshop with the help of a z-depth map as a mask.

transcendent, the thing with brazil r/s is that you still need lots of AntAliasing samples without the DOF, so it doesn't actually make much of a difference to the rendertime... the colours are coming from an orange/yellow/red multiple noise map in the skylight channel of the Brazil effect, with out Brazil it would look totally different, of course i could achieve the same result without Brazil but i want to test it out...
