I didn't feel like doing anything that would be too tough or take a while (that's where the uninspired comment comes from), so I just did a couple of reference copy portraits:

Angelina Jolie (Gia, TombRaider):

Medium: Photoshop, mostly paintbrush with opacity.

Time: About 3 hours

Clair Forlanni (MallRats, Meet Joe Black):
Medium: Graded pencils on printer paper.

Time: About 3 hours

What I learned from doing these: Angelina Jolie's lips are twice the size as those of an average person... that's all I can think of off hand

Ha Ha...Ye, all right. I feel like that.
But her lip is very lovely and sexy point about her face.

Casting her as Lala crofd is good choice, I thought...

Orionix: Thanks. I think she's a good choice for Lara Croft in Tombraider also, but I do wonder if they can make a good movie based on an action computer game?

MagicMan: Thanks. Hehe, I guess there are 3 very similar pictures then, the reference, Shane's and mine. If I ever get the will and time I'll color mine I think. His does look better, but he made her huge lower lip too small

I think I made her lip a little small too. And her eyebrow is a little off, probably a lot of other parts too, still happy with it for the time. And there's something a little funny with Claire Forlani's eyes in my drawing. Anyway, I'll email myself the rest of my crits & comments (j/k)
