I finished this a while back (one week, maybe two) but found myself pressed for a time I could post it.

That's pretty cool, Katana. I like the cartoony style. I don't have anything in the way of crits, though.

Pretty cool, nice original style. I think the background was a nice touch too. My only suggestion would be to have his stance, so that his legs were slightly parted.

I like the proportions. And the compositional background you set him in. THe textures are good too. One thing though, he looks like he might tip over backwards a little. you might want to bring his foot back a little more. Other than that good job.

he seems to be off balance, like he'd be falling over backwards in about 2 seconds. nothing that really needs changing, just pointing it out

i like the over all feel of this charater. HE would be a cool comic charater.

something about his stance is off though. everything else has been said.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes he is thin and cartoony, which I have noticed my style evolving towards. Also I liked his feet but not so much his legs (or maybe i should say the position of his legs) It's weird cause some times they look OK and some times very wrong. I don't know. What he needs is a sidekick, maybe some sort of fluffy bunny or something.. KIDN =P

Thanks again for your comments. It is obvious the consensus is that he looks like he is about to tip over and/or his stance is weird. I thought a good explanation would be that he is standing like that to counter the weight of that shield. But anyway I rotated him a bit clock wise in hopes of finding a quick and easy solution to that problem, without getting too far back into the picture.

Tell me if you think it worked.
