Dang, that's a beautiful image. The idea of a faded belief is so sad. It looks like a sculpture of Jesus, and it's really devestating that belief can fade in some and be on fire in others. I really like how it looks like the world is pealing back. These are just my interpretations, again, beautiful image.

Your piece reminded me of the poem Ozymandias.
The tale of the "king of kings" who's only testiment to his greatness is a crumbling statue surrounded by nothing. A faded belief in his own greatness perhaps.

can't say i like it.... balance is offm i son't really like the colors, and it honestly doesn't portray the feeling of fadded belief to me.

by the way, i'm not saying this as a christian, but as an artist.

Oh it's ok I understand...i make art for myself , it's not intended to make everyone happy or pleased, if iam happy with the peice than i post it , if someone might like it than iam happy, but if you don't i don't have anything against you or anything but iam glad you told me what you specifically didn't like about it.

that face statue is of Zues i think. Most of the painting of christ are based off of greek gods.
Christ was not a pretty man nore was he pretty to look at isaiah 53 just one sample.
