I wasn't going to post this, since it is laptop art, and all...But I got such a fun flame on Elfwood for it, so I thought: What the hey. Might as well.

I'm working on this really honking, detailed picture of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse...on and off...and some other stuff.... So this is the only really fun thing I've done lately. Whee. Oh, it's so nice to have the FORUMS back. I've been in forum withdrawal. YEEEEEEE-HAAAAA! (Er...sorry.)

It actually rather looks like her, Socar - but I wasn't able to spot that straight on.

Very nice picture :) Maybe her upper lip looks a bit odd, but even so - sweet work!

You know, I still love that background. Its so simple, and yet so... brilliant!

Hooray for portraits. I really like the way you do them. They seem real. I don't mean photorealistic real, but, I don't know... down to earth real, or something. There's something you put into faces that I can't quite put into words, but whatever it is, it works very well indeed.

EDIT: Forgot to add, I'm really looking forward to the Four Horsemen!

The flame: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/zone/s/o/socar/selma2.jpg.html It's the fourth comment. I don't mind criticism, but this was just useless. Mildly amusing, though.

She looks like a friend of mine. I don't think I should post the reference pics, though, 'cause I don't have permission.

Socar: I really like the image. There seems to be a small shading problem on her right (our left) cheek, a few small anatomy things here and there, other than that, it seems quite tight to me! What that 'Jesse' person said on Elfwood is totally out there. It's obvious he's either jealous or tries to pretend he's knowledgeable and/or can do better... I would like to see him put his money where is yap is.

Good work Socar... at least I like it.

I'm using a tablet with the laptop...heaven forbid I try drawing with a touchpad! *Shudder* The problem with the laptop is that it's got a wee 15-inch LCD screen, so I can't see what the hell I'm doing. But I spend so much time at work, and there's nothing to do there, but I don't have a proper computer...so...the Crappy Laptop

I like it! Maybe the eyes are too far from eachother. The nose looks like it goes together with the forehead. maybe you could add a soft and subtle shadow between the eyes or a stronger highlight on the nose to distinguish it more.
It's a pretty picture and i like it alot.
Oh, forgot. The lips have same colour as the rest of the skin. Try adding some more Pink, Red. Good work!

Hi Socar!!!
Well, I think this is not the best pic I've seen of you, but I like it anyway. Maybe it is because I think your last works were so awesome that this laptop one seems not so finished as the previous ones. And I'd like to create something half as good as your "not-so-good-masterpieces".
And that Jessy is, not only a stupid with too much time in his hands, but a pretentious envious guy.
I would tell him to show some of his so good work, but I don't want to spend time in people that don't deserve it.
