Already posted this at the Paintchat forums, apologies if you've seen it before.

I did this one evening after work, using a poorly-lit photo as reference. I think certain features are probably rendered too loosely, but otherwise I'm happy with it as a quick impression.

Very nice!

Actually I think the loose style lends itself to the mood of the piece.

That kind of style also helps painter fool the eye into thinking it is natural media and not digital.

Do more!
