is there any Ge-Force Card out there with a multi monitor support? And do you know a site where I could get hardware info like this? |

I own a gigabyte geforce2 mx 400 64mb daul monitor/tv out card... It runs great. Im supremely happy with this card. only downside is that it wont play dvds on the second monitor or the tv. but the acceleration is top notch.
the number is GV-GF1280RT-64
clicky here for vid card info |

GTS better than MX though, cause MX was made for value systems and uses SDRAM but since now prices went down they cost about the same (hehe) so if you pick MX/GTS pick GTS cause its DDR memory.
I heard some time ago that Matrox G400 is excellente for dual monitors, but i dont think it was a very fast card by itself and now there are many more faster cards with dual support so...
I dont think there are g3 dual cards yet, but at the same time i think i heard one like that... if not
pick from GeForce2, search for dual cards on www.pricewatch.com and then search on www.google.com for reviews like "geforce 3 t500 review"

well the nice thing about the gigabyte geforce2 mx400 is that its mem and core frequencies are defaulted to low settings which means that when you put a fan on the heatsync, you can overclock the thing massively making it run faster than the 32mb GTS. I dont have it overclocked myself but I still get full 4x fsaa in max payne @ 800x600 with almost no slowdown.
Im still waiting fro the geforce 3 to drop in price before I check that out but by all means if its at no cost to you, get one; if there is a dual monitor one.
I wasnt even originally gonna buy the one I have but I read some reviews on it and thought that it should carry me through for a while. I would buy it again today for sure.. purely because its got 64mb of ram which can be overclocked. It wont necessarily do what a geforce3 can but its a good alternative.

Thanks mate!
But would you buy this card again today? Would it be wise to buy a geforce 2 today? I mean, I want to use it tomorrow too. I'm not the hard-ware specialist. Please elaborate.
My parents are about to give me a graphics card as a present and I am to choose one. I was going to get myself a geforce 3. Does any of the new geforce cards have dual monitor support? Any of the third version?
Thank you for the link |
