Hey all, here's a model I showed a while back. I came back to it recently because I need to animate her to fill my demo reel with some better stuff since I'm currently in the middle of a big job hunt...blech. Anyway, the texture isn't final but it's final enough to start animating and animation is the main purpose of this particular piece. But tell me what you all think. If you have any ideas or suggestions I'm open to hearing them as well as critiques on the overall model itself.

Oh man, I just realized I'm still using geocities. Well, here's a link anyways:

hey,

Looks nice man. Need to rig her up and see how she deforms. My crits would be to scale her head up a bit, its a lil small for the body and work on the knee/boot connection, its a lil odd. would like to see some poses other than the standard modeling pose to see how she deforms..

Hey Flint, I usually don't do low poly characters so it's hard to give crit. It would be another story if you'd a high poly character. Anyway, hope your job hunting is going well. Ed--

ZiG: yeah, I already went through the physique process before I did this image up...still a couple tweaks to be made but she's been pretty solid since I started animating her. Hopefully I'll post some screens from her going through the motions.

Ed Lee: thanks man, job hunt is going well, lots of prospects...just playing the waiting game right now and improving upon my portfolio/reel in the meantime. I have a high poly character that I should get to as well...maybe you can crit that when I finish it

Blitz: thanks, but, uhhh.. what pose would you be talking about, hehe :P

Thanks for the replies so far!

Well, I may give my opinion but that's about it on the hi-rez character models. Haven't seen alot of hi-rez characters on this forum....Ed--

Heh, so Feng hasn't harrassed you about building a hot chick, Ed? What do you do then...environment stuff and objects?

In any case, everybody check out this Divx avi of this model. It's probably a little rough since I haven't really animated in more than a year but I'm getting the hang of it again. The download shouldn't be bad either...it's smaller than some pictures I've seen posted around here *coughfaustgfxcough*. Well here it is: right click-Save target as

tell me what you think so far...

Hey Flint, this looks great. I love how she draws back her bow and her hair sorta whips around a bit. Looks cool
