Sweden is an odd (if wonderful) place. Every Easter, on this very Thursday, kids all over the country dress up like little witches and walk around knocking doors, handing over pictures they've painted, or eggs they've decorated, in exchange for candy (or during the last few years - money! Damn greedy little brats!). And where does this come from? If I'm not altogether wrong (I might be) during the olden days, people up here thought that every year at about this time, all the witches would travel to Bl�kulla ("Blue Hills") and dance and dine with the devil... they would often steal children or innocents from their beds, and drag them along as they flew on their broomsticks towards this great party. So... why do we celebrate this? Damned if I know! It's a fun thing though!

So, here, while saying "Glad p�sk!" (happy Easter!) I bring you a witch... Where her broom is, I do not know.

The girl looks great, but I don't like her nose. I always heard that people would try to appease the druids around them by giving them fruits and vegetables once a year and thats how the whole thing got started.

heh... excellent cartoon style.. I agree about the nose tho.. only part I dont like.

beautiful work as always... and I dont suppose there is any point in going into anatomy and whatnot... I think you have a fairly good grasp of that.

Sorry Neo, I like the nose (it adds to the feel of the pic) and I like the legs, the text, THE EYES!
Good job Enayla... your contributions to this forum are beyond inspiring and one of the reasons why this gallery is now my homepage. Well anyway, I'm sure you get this a lot (hopefully it doesn't lose it's meaning after a while!) but once again, good job!

Let me get this right...you guys have hollowen on our ester??? That is so wierd!!! Anyways cute painting....it just seems odd that you have hollowen on the day when Jesus ( supposidly dies...he he seems backwards )

I'm sorry if some people do not like her nose - but I like it, so I won't change it. I'm not really looking for crits with this picture since it was so quickly done, and was done more as an Easter greeting than an actual picture

I actually think the flat shoes are kinda of cute, right along with her perky nose. They make a nice, original ,fun change from the tired norm. High heels and/or boots would have been so clich�.

Not to mention pretty darned cruel to the kitty.
