I've been looking for someone to collaborate with on this picture of mine (its of tekken)... please i want it done in the so-called comic style. Just look at Liquids work and you'll kno what i mean.

Heres the pic. Critique me if ya want. B4 hand tho, i dont like jin's right hand.. heh. well, if u wanta collaborate jus e-mail me. hope ya like the pic.....

the pic kix ass, but after u said the thing about his bad right hand, i looked at it first and kept focusing on it. Couldn't figure out how he was holding that sword, or if it was connected to his arm somehow. But its jst the guy in the background's hair.

the way yyou drew all the hands gave them a really exagerrated and flat. I do like that form of that hand at the bottom of the pic tho.

i too like the exaggerated look of hands, makes em' look kinda manga-ish (if i can invent a word).

And about Liquid,... its more like a company of people. They all color comics.

Thats really good. I especially like the Jin on the bottom. I don't like how Heihachi's hair is covering Jins face though. You should check out http://www.comiccolors.com/index1.html
You can probably learn how to color it yourself. All you do is put the lineart in another layer in photoshop. Then make selections to fill in the color in another layer.

the best guy from liquid! is resident here (at this forum). your style seems very comic book artist inspired, like a cross between Mad! and Garza (e.v.e.). i like the pose of jinn; hand placement is cool.


ohnononono, dont go to comic colors, all the guys there are idiots who think they got it down, but all they have is overly complex methods of how color liquidly!

i really like your line work and style. i was going to comment that your jumping guy had his toes on backwards, but on further inspection i see his right leg behind the left. maybe it was just me.

Some of the people on that board are really good. Laura's one of the best colorist i've ever seen. Thats where i learned how to color.

profesionals eh? not from what i've seen, all i saw was atmosphere less, flourescent lighting everywhere, basic 'paintbrush' coloring. and yes, i think you're an idiot, anata geri o shite! usero!
