Love the robot...Friendly palette matches the scene nicely. Good work!

I don't recall you being this good!.

these are great, I'm not a fan of heights and your first pic put my nuts up around my throat.
Did you take your digi cam into a strip joint?. That btw is awsome, nice simplicity, dig the reflections and hair.

NICE!

That's a great painted style Icannon, you've captured the perspective of the first one very nicely, and love the second one

The first is an unusual persteptive and subject matter.(How'd you think of that?) The second has great mood. Kinda reminds me of a George Bellows boxing painting.

Wow, very nice both of them. I never thought of a robot playing guitar in a tree before.
The little details like the reflections in both pieces are great.
Some things that don't really matter, like with those long shadows I think there would be some shadows from trees not in the frame, and the ground could look less flat (or not, it makes for an interesting style.)

These are great. I really like the first one. It takes me back to my early years growing up in the mountain country of Oregon. I used to spend a good amount of time at about that same height. Of course I'm not a robot and my instrument of choice was an end blown flute. Thanks for posting these what a fun idea.

i guess my pictures are old already
thanks everyone for replying. i could have used some more critics, tho.

kreuze- your shadow comment is very valid. i was even thinking that during the earlier stages of the picture. i think i was afraid of too many shadows darkening the whole image.

lukias- na, the camera would boost me up to perv status. also, they usually make money by selling poloroids.

greenpeach- i love music and all the emotions that come with it. guitar is my instrument of choice and so i thought mixing an object of technology with an element of emotion would be a nifty juxtaposition (no?) hehe

thrush- hah, cool.
