Here's a new painting I've been working on, it differs a little from my usual stuff as far as topic I guess.

Hope you guys like it, I think my understanding of lighting was greatly improved during the making of this piece.

lovely. I personally like the fingers.. but some of the fingers on the top hand.. are a bit wierd

i hate to say it(cuz its so bloody nice), but the angle of the nose is not aligned to the face. i may be wrong though.
love the chiped paint texture.

I love that guy...., I realy do....Noes can be a bit off there but...eh....gives him some character, theres nothing realy wrong with have a crooked noes, you have one right?

He is great and the lighting is beautifull. The eyes are nice but I do think there could be more shading on the whites of the eyes. Some darker tones maybe. Well stay coom my friend and damn you for getting that server to work...I want one.

The reason the hands look weird is because his left hand looks like it's upside down i.e. the thumb seems to be on the bottom. Also the digits don't seem to be attached at the right spot, if you catch my drift.

Then again, hands are tought to draw, and the rest of the painting is beautifully done.

Yeah that guy has got some great character. HEy! thats from the drawing on your geocites page. The face has some great rendering/lighting. the wrist kinda seems like it is at the wrong angle, I may be wrong but it seems like the elbow would stick out more cuz the jacket seems kinda thick.

I like the warm colors you used, really nice. Hey, freaky! His smile looks like mine on my driver's license...I'm scared. Is he smiling because he's holding pretty pretty flowers? Oh and about the crooked nose thing, I think it makes him look more realistic. I mean, who honestly doesn't have a crooked nose?
