That's simply awesome. Cool perspective on that first pic. Those faces in the last pic remind me of Megatron. Kick ass! Btw, d'you see my post in your forum?

Great foreshortening on the top two characters, Francis... I'm still working on perfecting that...

wow amazing. all of those are soo well done it's hard to say what I really like. The robot arm is excellent. Anatomy on the first picture looks perfect. Did you have to use a reference for that?

How's ron doin'? Haven't heard from him in a while..

Forgot to tell you, there's a few more things you need to comp for Myst3 before you're done. Can you come in this weekend and work about 30 hours to get it done? .

The sketches are goooood, gooood. Just threw those in the save folder.

For the first pic... it looks like Mr. Buffed-up Cyberoid is thinking about sending some mail while the mail-lady is waiting for him to say something... though he has no mouth!

I want co-authorship on the game/comic he stars in now :P (j/k)

Really great sketches. Makes me wanna draw again! I find it easyer to draw sitting infront of the computer when rendering 3d or downloading from the net. Robots are fantastic. Your human characters are very much your own. I like the style they are drawn in.

Yeah, gotta love those perspectives and foreshortenings!

I'd love to see a painting of these, especially the first one.

Glad you like these! My figures (especially in cases of extreme foreshortening) don't always come out right. The ones that do are usually thanks to Fred Flick Stone's critical eye and valuable feedback.

Frost, Waldo, Rinaldo, Micke, etc - Most of us are slowly extricating ourselves from Myst 3; I actually haven't lost a whole lot of sleep - the guys with the hardcore hours are the animators like MikeB, Delirious One, Natec and McSteed. Hopefully more of us will be back online soon.

Sedone - saw your post, and really cool stuff on your site!

MikeB - very funny.

nori - no reference, but you can probably tell from the pic. Ron's doing great, just busy as all hell.

Guy - basically, looking at anything at an angle (i.e. not straight on) will create "foreshortening." I'm sure someone could give you a better definition. I haven't had my daily coke yet, so I'm still a bit fuzzy.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed these.
