Thanksgiving...

What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for the privilege of having a computer that allows me to post messages like this in forums like these. To be able to reach across cities, states, countries, and continents and interact with people I would have never met otherwise. To be able to say what I want, go where I want, and do what I want. I'm thankful for life- mine, and others. I'm thankful for my friends and my family, my health and well-being, and my ability to choose.

I'm thankful I'm free, and I'm thankful we're fighting to keep it that way.

Happy Thanksgiving.
-Chris

My life. I'm so careless; I've very nearly lost it on a few occasions. But, much to the misfortune of the online art community, I always managed to hang onto it.

I'm also thankful for potatoes. I really like potatoes. If there weren't potatoes, I don't know what I'd eat. Gotta love those potatoes.

Freddio... how about... what are you grateful for? =)

Personally, I'm thankful for my boyfriend who takes care of me. Works his arse off even though I'm having a hard time finding a job.

I'm thankful that Canadian thanksgiving is a full 2 1/2 months before Christmas

good spacing of turkey leftovers....ugh

But when it IS thanksgiving here, I'm thankful for my health and family.

I'm not thankful for anything, I certainly won't thank God for causing a crisis in my family, and I won't thank God for causing me to have a crappy mood.
At least it's not thanksgiving in Canada, so they don't have to pretend everything is fine.

cheer up achri. lifes not as bad as you may think. whatever your situation, there is someone out there who is worse off.

my friend met a homeless woman once, he invited her into his house to warm up. she only had a few belongings, and to eat she had two apples. she insisted my friend take an apple because she wanted to see him happy.

im thankful for people like that, people who have nothing but give everything they can.
thats where i see peace, love and joy-in the faces of people like that woman. whats not to be thankful for?

Hahah, that is pretty funny that the only people replying (mostly) are Canadian. I started the thread, and I'm Canadian too. I just felt like being thankful, I guess. :P
