Fallen; I know exactly what you mean (I read the thread in Random Musings) -- People often accuse me of either ripping off Nagel, or tracing photos entirely (when in reality I use the grid technique like you used to)... =P

Looks good for a mouse...You'll love your Wacom when you get it...The difference is unbelievable.

i like the mouth/lips and nose a lot. well done. get a tablet. looks like her. yes, shes very hot. whats with the streaks in the hair? and the gold ties all fuxored.
not to change the subject to something really overdone, but theres nothing wrong with penciling the outlines of a photo. its the same as grid technique only more efficient. my uncle used to make composites of photos and project them on the wall for murals. and he was a better artist than most of the people that complain here. the sad thing is completely photo-realistically replicating a photo(which fallen dosent do). why bother? you already have the fuckin photo.
wrong thread, i know. i wont post again till i upload again, i swear!

hey - not bad at all for a mouse. i remember when i first tried to paint i used a mouse, and you learn a lot of tricks that way - then when you get the tablet, you have all this time to use it to stylize, because you learn so much with the mouse. At least, thats what I think.

good stuff!

Ha ha!!! well said Roundeye!!! I tried out the whole photo-realistic deal and I didn't have nearly as much fun as with messin around. Your pictures were pretty inspiring! Where did you learn from? LoL, seriously I want to know... this jealousy sucks = )

stneil777---- you make me proud fellow mouser... wacoms are good, but there's so much more I gotta have my materialistic hands on *sinister laugh* ---If you learned how to do hair you'd be in pretty good shape.

Yes sir. "But anyway... I wonder what subjects usually get the most feedback... chicks, hot chicks and naked hot chicks always get attention but they're almost becoming cliche, what should I do next?" Whoops!! There I go thinking outloud again... hmmm

I like this method of yours, really pushing the tools around instead of just getting a generic airbrush 'look' and fuzzy edges some places, hard others, I don't know, just kind of interesting. plus you seem pretty good at capturing the image of things, try some original stuff as well
