I was driving back from dropping a load of garbage at the dump today and I was looking at the mountains and I saw this... sorta. I was studying how the colors worked and this is sorta what I gathered..

this is a finished image... Im not gonna touch it again but it was a cool exercise.

Pretty cool....you have the gloomy mood down allright.purple and grey....great stuff One thing thats kiunda bothering me is how.... the rain isnt all over the polace..its only coming down from those 2 clouds... could be because of how high the mountains were.. hehehe. good job though.

very neat Awetopsy, though I think you made the right hand rain a bit too heavy/covering ... or was this intentional as some sort of fog on that side? Still, great for 10 minutes.

PS. my email is hungry for good colored food man..

yeah I did make it not look quite right. it is my first try at painting a mountain rain scene...

I swear I have seen that before. Somewhere in the okanagan I think. That's pretty cool though. Guess I'll see you on friday when we go to Van.. hahaha.
