Yet another Painter image. I might do some touching up before print, so if you have any comments please fire away...

Really nice sketch. Background could do with some rendering (smudgy pattern mabey?) Also the right side of the face (in shadow) looks strange. Is that a thumb covering it? The face as a whole *not the head* could do with a little anticlockwise rotation. The eyes would look more realistic a little smaller (if thats what you're going for). Those painter brushes are way cool!

is that supposed to be a quake symbol at the bottom of the.. big metal.. thing.. ?
The only thing i think u may want to touch up is the right (her left) side of the face

looks very nice and "artistic" boom ! Interessting how you manage to get this technique in painter.
comments, uhm, maybe some stronger joints in the fingers could be good ? And, maybe moove the arm a bit more out from the body ? But, just nitpicking, overall it's very nice.

Oooo... You just keep on pumping those babies out
I agree with zenonithus on the point about the face rotation, either lean the head towards the machinery or align the face with the head. The hand looks a bit weird also, mainly the fingers, they look a little bendt, don't know exactly what it is but they look funny (I hate drawing hands and feet), so damn difficult...
But I do love the overall look, especially the shoulder, arm, breast area. Really nice muscle structure... Is this from memory or reference. Also how do you go about creating an image like this? Do you render a silhouette and then do the light areas/crosshatching afterwards or do you work with light/shadow at the same time?

hey, i love this one, what's got me worried is her arm and neck, they look a little bit too muscular imho, nothing serious though. nice work!

fallen - thx
Zenonithus - thx, but this is no sketch. You are right about the face. I should have been able to catch that... That's what happen when you are so eager to show your stuff and don't leave it until next morning to catch those stupid mistakes... I will add the second eye and rotate it slightly. thx...
Ko - ye, as Joachim also stated the fingers still need some work - [sigh!] I hate doing fingers. Doing a picture like this is fairly straight forward... I can try and save some steps or write alittle something if theres interest. For this picture I started out with an idea I got from a picture of Natasha Henstridge, but about 95% is from artistic memory I guess.
Psionic - thx
minkee - nope. no quake hints this time...
Joachim - thx. right about the fingers. I'll do something about those. All of it is done with the standard Painter tools - Chacoal and erasor...
Grendel - thx. Yeah, somehow I just love doing those muscledefinitions which ofcause leads to muscular looking females.
