Deus Ex
Followed closely by the Monkey Island trilogy, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, and Grim Fandango. |

Minesweeper ..i have not installed it anymore because i wasted so much time with it!
Day of the Tentacle is really one of the best games ever. the whole game plays in one single house, but the idea to mix it with 3 times is brilliant! And the riddles like the appletree-riddle, the hamster-riddles ... wonderful, brilliant, best riddles ever!
Also i like MonkeyIsland1+2, but i miss the comprimised location like in DotT.
But my really favorite is "Starcraft-Broodwar", there is no better one for me ... until Warcraft3 released? |

DoT for sure. Of course you can't forget the one that started it... Maniac Mansion!
Starcraft and Everquest are also in my top 10. |

Half-Life. Not only is it an awesome game, it spawned other awesome MODS.
I bow down to Valve. |

the best of all time (imho) is quake 3 challenge promode arena (in fact, it's a mod that makes q3a more quakeish)
my other fvourites are quake 1 (pc) (started the series of best egoshooters)
the doom series (pc)
wolfenstein (pc)
tetris (nearly everything)
pong (nearly everything)
dance dance revolution (psx / arcade)
street fighter zero 3 (dreamcast)
street fighter 3: third strike (dc)
bushido blade 2 (psx)
metal gear solid (psx)
resident evil: code veronica (dc)
shenmue (dc)
mechwarrior 4 (pc)
and to name those, i think are the worst:
half life (especcially counter-strike) because of slowing egoshoters down and make them uncontrollable.
unreal tournament because of just spoling online egoshooting with bad physics, bad balanced weapons (who t.f. needs an alternative fire mode?) and poor gameplay.
most of the games mentioned above belong to the newer generations. but i chose them mostly because their gameplay had something special, something that was innovative or that makes them highly addictive
and remember, that's not meant to be flaming. if someone is happy when playing ut or cs, it's fine. but that does not mean that i have to like these games.
just my 2 cents |

Doom and Quake (1) are probably the ones I remember most fondly. More recently Half-Life and Deus Ex have been absolutely fantastic. I haven't played anything much since Deus Ex (earlier this year) so I'm sure there are a few I've missed out on. |

newsroom!!! (c64)
i don't know if newsroom counts though, since it's not really a game. it's a program for making a newspaper. you could draw pictures in it.
that's where i made my first completely digital art!
you think mouse is a pain to draw with?
try non-analoge joystick!
i wish i had some of those images left. i remember i printed some of them...
oh, and international karate+ rulez! |
