While waiting to get finished with a download, I decided to doodle... and as sometimes happens, something came out of the doodle.

It's not a masterpiece... but it's cuuute...

When it was loading, all i saw was the eye, and, what i thought, was fur around it, and i thought "OMG, OMG, OMG! I've made something like that!", but then the rest loaded up, and i thought "oh... dam."

It looks kinda sleepy to me too. I think it's cool, in a kind of cute way.

A link to my furry eyeball thing, if anyones interested. Was a birthday thing for a friend called davina, who's a hippy chick, and likes kula shaka, so i call her vindajya. Hope you don't mind enayla, if you do i'll remove the link.

AWWWW! I'm working on some bird pictures too at the moment, but mine are nowhere near this cute! I love the little plume coming off his head. And the eyelashes. And the exuberant tail. I love it when you do things like this.

I am an insane woman.

I've been sick with the flu for about three weeks... so I haven't been out dancing and enjoying myself like I would usually be. I've had to channel it in some other way. The pictures you see posted in Sijun are really just the tip of the iceberg. To illustrate my point, I will tell you what I did last weekend:

On Friday I'm working on pictures at work, both during work-hours (the stuff I'm supposed to do) and during lunch (just sketching around - you've seen the pictures). I get home at about eight, at which point, I realise I'm too sick to go out dancing... I sit down and start working on the lady with the rose image. At about 7 in the morning I go to bed again, sleep till 2 and continue drawing. I only interrupt myself with dinner, and then later, I hang out with a couple of friends in between 9 and 2... and continue drawing when they leave. My Sunday this weekend is just about the same, only I go to bed earlier because I have to go to work.

And you ask me how come I'm so productive? I'm insane. Insane, and sick. I'm a woman possessed.

Oh, and I'm glad everyone likes the cute bird! Teehee... I call it a doodle because I doodled it while on the phone with my brother... It took me about 20-25 minutes to make.

Oh, and as an answer to Lunatique: Maybe I will, some day... but I honestly don't consider myself good enough yet.
