This is a show and tell post. We are working on some revisions for a comic book "Cosmic Soda Pop". I did these revisions with the Xara freehand tool - using varying weights of static lines. some interior lines were converted to existing line shapes. i converted the lines to shapes and did some minor editing for a smoother look. Previously i had been using the illustrator pressure sensitive freehand tool. i much prefer to start with static lines, so i can concentrate on the drawing before thinking about line weight.
bye, phil
i hope the image is viewable.

These are looking very clean! It's nice work. Got anything in color or something more like a pic rather than frames? Or perhaps animations? |

Hi Frost,
I don't have any colored pieces, as i'm not the colorist. generally when the inking leaves my hands i don't see the finished product til' it appears online or til' i visit in-house. well....i have only visited in-house 2 times over the past 6 months. I would try www.cosmicsodapop.com to see the comic done. i'm not sure if the vector stuff is up yet...chapters 3 and 4. the first 2 were done with bitmap. i don't really know whats happening with the comic... I've been paid fairly well. we'll be on hiatus, while they show the comic at the san diego comic con. maybe later this year we'll get going with the comic again.
bye, phil
