Nice work! I especially like the use of lighting and texture (wrinkles), on the old man's face.

I think this is excellent. Lighting is gorgeous. The skin looks quite wax-like in places, especially around the ears.... but that's not a bad thing.
Can I ask what resolution you worked at with this pic, or is this the actual size?

The resolution i worked in was 3000x3000
And there is no reference pic....hehe
