i'm still getting the hang of my tiny wacom and painter. having fun. i am so inspired everytime i check the forum out. i'm really diggin' Janne's work, so if you're reading this, please give me some crits.

excellent! i love your style! (-as i said on your last pic here).

what is your technique in painter? spray and then smudge with the "add water" tool?

thanks for the comments.
in painter i was messing with the fine wash paint brush. i laid my colors in and went over the outlines with a small brush setting to get the pencilish lines. then i used "just add water" to try and take away those computerized brush lines.

topeira- your a graphic artist? do you have any of your work up on a website?
this may be a dumb question, but how safe is it right now where you live? calm or on edge? just wondering.

(whoa. this is flattering. i'm glad you like my stuff )

great pic! i love that same style you have had in your other pics too. they have all been wonderful. only thing that bothers me in this one is the same color all over the painting... i think it might benefit the pic if you tried a different color for the face.

yeah, that's a good point. on my next one i'll try and work on that. i want to paint from reference so i can learn more about light.
