Veiney dryed up leaves.....lovely touch, really nice texture.....arrggg.

Nice work, Isric, glad to see you back after a little while. I like the background texture and the face is solid. You definitely have a style all your own. Only question is what is it that's glowing purple on the back of his facial features but not affecting his hat or clothes? It looks nice there which would make me think it's just one of those "because it looks cool" rationales but I was wondering if there was another explanation for it.

So have I managed to evade the soul eater's wrath?

very nice Isric. I really like the first one. The colors are very well chosen and make a very strong image. On the second one I very much like the character (would love to see him in another scene) but the the techno stuff around him doesn't really fit in. IMO anyway.

thanks, here's another one. The background is a bit less...simple. I'm not sure i like this one as much just because it's hard to see the figure, but in a way I like it like that. No more talking for me, here...

Great variations.
Few comments and crits:
1st: Love the BG. Face seems a bit flat and pasted onto the neck though.
2nd: Interesting! Nice graphic composition!
3rd: The best one! Original and different. I like stuff like that.

The first one is great. The robot guy in the last one is cool too. Maybe there is a little too much going on in the background but it adds nicely to that very hectic and confused feeling you can read from his face.

These are really great, Isric! I love all of them, though the third one gets to me more than the others. Lots of emotion going on there (lots of STUFF going on there, too - but it works)

Is that a leaf in the background in the first one? It almost looks like a map, as well. Neat, anyway
