Hi,
In the art discussion forum the inquiry has been made as to whether inking can be done with illustrator. I'm posting my illustrator inking for the cover page of the first chapter of "Cosmic Soda Pop".

i'm trying to post this pict on a new web page, so if it doesn't appear try cosmicsodapop.com

Do you ahve any tips on what tools to use etc.
I had some logos that needed to be vector but have a nice freehand look a while back. so I was playing around with some of the tools in Illustrator. And I was thinking it would be interesting to try inking in it.
Looks very crisp

Rinaldo, the freehand tool in illustrator is great. make your own calligraphic brushes. i made a library of them. double click on the freehand tool in the toolset? and get further options - i increased the something or other to 20, so to have fewer control nodes. i was trying for about two nodes per line stroke, one on each end.
