I like the idea.

But I'd like to see an even bigger head. Like a caricature. Don't know if that was the intention. Like he was screaming into the camera or something.

I don't like the composition. It's too much space to the left. As you mentioned, the blur effect isn't that grat. You could keep the floor and wall simple but toned down.

An idea for the composition could be to add even more space to the left, and add maybe 3 exact copies of this one, only they aren't screaming. They could sit down with their heads down crying. I dunno.
