Hi All!
Joachim, Ewooz and I gave each other a task
that we had problems doing (as Joachim mentioned in his ship at sea picture). I had to do a picture about "indian hunters in the rainforest" or something, scoping a jaguar.

this is the result...

crits and comments are ofc. welcome

Extremely beautiful work. I love how you handle greens.

I didn't notice the indians at first (there is morning light in my room, so that could be it.) But it's really nice to wake up to this.

First, I like it very much. The light and the colours are great.

but... I find something odd in the composition. My eyes tend to the jaguar, and when I look at the jaguar I feel I should be looking somewhere else, so my eyes don't rest. Maybe it's me

I also see that you have a very very strong focal point, but thats not a bad thing its just not a good thing. There are many very great old paintings with only one focal point but it kind of makes the painting feel like there is nothing going on. I love your foilage, I have a lot of trouble imagining how leaves should sprout out of the ground but I think you really got it and the shapes are really sweet too. That light in the center is just so strong. The only criticism I have is to lessen the light in the middle of the picture because would there really be that much green leaves on the ground if the light only hit one spot in the forest? But what do I know about plants?

Very kool man, I really love the background, and a great painted style. Something about the guys in the foreground and the way the tiger is so illuminated looks a little odd to me but thats just my opinion, overall its a great piece. You should post more often

Hi Chester!
How's life up there? It's been a while!

I love this! Kool!
Inspired by Tarzan?
(Indians are a bit dark though and hard to see.... as someone mentioned.)

Thanks for all the nice comments and feedback I got.

-Samg1739 & Cos, I agree that the jaguar is a
bit flat, so I'll try fixing it.

-Olve,The spring is right around the corner..Wait a minute aren't you in Norway?

Thnx guys!
