Please come in, watch the step, and for christ sake do not try to go out the backdoor.
Eheh I was bored, and I just started doodling some random strokes here and there, and this kinda emerged from it.
Oh yeah, might as well post this one, I tried to imitate gouche, didnt succeed too well :|
tell me what you think

The second pic looks like that dude from smashing pumpkins.
The first pick is a very nice picture. I am sure others will have more to say. lets hope any way. There is a lot of nice stuff going on with the feel of the image. Kind of reminds me of the 5th eliment for some reson. They have a floating chineas restorant. Well, its sort of a resteront.

Very nice Binke, I'm very impressed with both of these. The second one has a very earthy feel to it |

Hi Binke,
Really nice pics! I like the first one a lot and I like what you did with the flourescent light. It looks great
The second one is really good too. It's got a good sense of form and volume. Did you do it in painter? If you did it in PS, how did you achieve that effect?

hey heyy
Jason: Smashing Pumpkins.Hm ok =) Yeah, I guess its a little 5th elementish + bladerunner:ish, thanks.
Isric: Thanks! Hey, how's our pic going? Can't wait til we got em all finished! Heh earthy feel?
Bradford: Ya me too. I just noticed that the picture kinda looks fubar if you have a bright gamma on (mine always has, when I start it up for the first time, but after a while it goes down)
JasonN: Thanks, and yeah I did it in Painter, I only used the watercolor tool. It's pretty fun to play around with. You see I bought this excellent book, which had tons of gouche & watercolor paintings. Some very simple, but they were still awesome so I got inspired.
nori: You know I like your fruits! heh thanks.

Nice work Binke! The first one looks great, though the the way the background is out of focus makes me think that perhaps it is smaller than we are meant to think it is. Nice choice of colours too.
The second pic is nice too. Where the edge of the nose covers part of his right eye it would be nice to have a stronger sense of 'edge' there.
Nice work!

very nice style, although the top of the guys head in the second one is a little too "square" if you know what I mean |
