Well, I hope Geocities works...
I don't like how images are treated by JPG format...they get too blurry. Any suggestions for posting a pic with good quality, without having to download a huge file?
And as always...crits are welcome.

I like it
I think I hadn't seen anything from you before.
Good style.
Crits? The way the foot blends with the grass, it doesn't look like it's on the grass
And if the light comes from top-left why is his right hand dark?
Hope this helps |

Thanks RAGNAROK for your comments. Yes, I have serious problems with lighting *AND* colour. I've always drawn, and only very few times used colour, so now I master the drawing and line, but suck at painting and lighting.
Your crits are welcome.
SEMPERE: I created this JPG at its best ratio (minimum compression), but still blurried the pic.
FLEXIBLE ELF: I really admire your work. When are we going to see your new art? |

Hey tayete, nice picture.
Mi crit is similar to Ragnarok's one, the figure of the elf seems a bit "pasted" on the background, they look like two different pictures. IMHO that's because the background looks more detailed than the elf himself.
Anyway, cool image. Don't take my comments too serious, I'm in the same stage as you (you know, that i-can-draw-but-i-cant-paint-or-color stage)

Thanks man! I'm always workin on stuff. I put the other project I was working on on the shelf for now so I'm probably just going to crank out some paintings and comic pages now. But I've been busy with work, gf and freelance.

Thanks GRENDEL for your crits...you know, I was so anxious to post the pic, that I dropped all the layers without "blending" them correctly.
For example, what RAGNAROK told about the grass and the foot had been planned to be fixed when I finished it before posting, ...but I forgot to do it |

That guy's really proud of himself, isn't he?
A beautiful pic, even though a bit bloody for my tastes.
I think the pose of the elf is really fine. |

Geocities is crazy...sometimes shows the pic, sometimes not. |
