Hey I just did finished this sketchy self portrait and had so much trouble with the right side of the face that I ended up darking it to almost no detail. I really don't want to use a second lighting source or a reflective lighting could you recomend what color would be used for such a task? Would it be unsaturated browns derived from oranges and reds or should there be more tone involved?
also i have some other pics i have done this week at my site http://morrell.8k.com Thanks

Picture doesn't load up for me unless it's in the cache so we might need to click this. to see it.
I like it but that left side(right of the face) looks fairly ominous. The nose also seems to stick out to your(since it's a self portrait) left. However, the other side of the face could balance it out so the nose looks more natural, but it's hard to tell.(Looking again the nose isn't really bad at all, just the way I keep seeing the highligh on the ridge of your nose. Err I dunno I'm in two minds of whether I just though it was bad and can't see anew or it is or.. ahhh!!!)
I like the ridges in the forehead. They are nice, give you an almost 'pained' look. Somewhat distraught maybe. Very emotional, nearly tells a story all on its own.
Overall I like the picture.(maybe a little more owrk on the neck though )

How do I get the picture to show without it being in your cache? I thought I did just like it said in the ubb code. Thanks

Yeah your link was fine, it is your host that has 'blocked' external image linking. Try another one, maybe geocities or something, just for the images you want to post here or where ever.
