It's not much, I know
I can never think of anything interesting to put in the subject:P

I'm doing a lot of these little coloured sketches. trying to figure out which bits are best done at the pencil stage and which are best left for painting. putting the effort where it's going to give the best result in the smallest ammount of time.
I'm going to try and take one page out of my sketchbook per day and paint it up (loosely mind you). I've been neglecting my sketch book and noticed that I haven't been improving as fast.

That's a cool style, Rinaldo. I'm starting to do the same thing you're talking about, reworking old sketches with color.

I love the spontenaiety of it. Reminds me of Peter DeSeve a bit.

I would like to see the hands on the top one.

That first pic looks good, a nice dynamic pose. There's one thing bothering me, it's his right shoulder (but I don't bother getting into it, I'm sure you notice it yourself)... the main thing here was the colouring, right?

thanks everyone

It was just a sketch and as such the hands didn't make it=D I'll put both hands and feet on the next one. There are a lot of problems with it, I'm just trying to do a lot of these the quality will (hopefuly) improve.
It's funny becase I usuialy have big problems drawing feet and legs.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but have you taken figure drawing courses and/or studied anatomy? You have a good overall capture of the feel and flow of the character that I'm only beginning to understand...

Your color choices and composition, particularly of the first piece, I like a lot...

Very nice and loose sketches. The second one looks great, only that his eyes are little skewed. And good idea this fast painting/coloring of sketcbook drawings.

I like a lot the first one !!!

The color is rough but cool !

I think it would be an ever better practice if color new quick sketches than picking older ones...

ShinShot- thanks I've taken two semesters of figure drawing so far (on my third now), although it would best be described as "figure drawing for designers" the emphasis more on artsy stuff than solid drafting and anatomy. I really need to do some of the more technical stuff.

Rhomb-thanks

nightmare-hehe^_^

Sempere-thanks I'm doing both. this one was recent but I'm digging up the old ones that I particuarly liked. mostly I'm doing new ones tho.
