Ok, well here are two drawings I did. The first one is a girl (Laetitia Casta). It is done in the method called pointilism. I did it with a Razor Point pen from Pilot. All dots, simply all fucking dots.
The second is an old man from an iMAC Think Different ad. He was done in a vertical Line shading, no stoipping in the lines from top to bottom. No crossing-over at all. ALL VERTICAL Lines. Here they are: the work of some 16 year old named dustin. Critique needed, too. Tell me what to do next time I do more.
Thanks, please give me advice, and feedback. Oh yeah, to see them better, save them and enlarge them; damn fucking jpeg quality. |

Very nice, I know these things are hard to do so I'm impressed. I love them both!

Oh yes, would someone please try to paint over one of these? Just use it as a base image, or an outliner. I would love to see what you guys could do with just some black and white photos.
**REMEMBER** Inlarge them for better quality to manipulate, and to look at... |

Nice work. Be careful with stippling, I know several people with carpal tunnel syndrome thanks to that technique. |

My roomate in college used to draw like this. It took him forever to finish them. He had nightmares over the dots. Then WHAM ! it was done and it looked great, as does yours. Way Cool, cause I know this takes a ton (not a metric tonne) of patience to do. |

looks very good- I almost (and kinda still do) want to think the girl is the result of a filter, because it turned out so good. It looks exactly like that victoria's secret model Latetia Casta |

Thanks a bunch guys. Yes, I cannot wait for college either. Just going to be a blast. Yes, it takes a lot of patience, but I live through it, have to strecth every now and then, but when I start one of these, you get in the zone, and everything seems your way |

Because the ref. picture that I used was only what you see--her head. Nothing more. But yes, had a gotten a close up of her body i would have done that, also. |

It's unlikely I'll be able to draw this well before I die, let alone back when I was sixteen.
Nice work, man.

I like both... I've done pointilism too for a art contest and won first place but tha one was a quick one... I have only 2 in total cause it takes too long to do it... Now I'm just using it as a shading technique for my comic book.
