Hey man,
These are really good. The perspective look a little off on them, but you have good ideas and design sense. More!

Really nice sketches and colouring. I especially like the first critter, and the last ship is very cool. The second creature looks a little stiff and it seems like the upper half of its left hand is missing.

Skeezer,

You seem to be getting a little more comfortable with markers. If you keep outputting at your current rate, you'll be a master in no time.

I have some critique, mostly on the creatures:
I feel that your line work is kinda getting in the way of your marker work(or maybe vice versa). What I mean is that they looks a little muddy. I think you'll be surprised how much markers can help explain a form. I also think that if you vary your line width a little with your drawing pen the piece will look cleaner and have more 'pop'.
Just some suggestions and only my opinion, but keep in mind that whatever changes you make should improve the communicative nature of the sketch, since what you are trying to do is communicate to others your concept.
Well, kinda long-winded I know....(backs out of the room chuckling nervously)

they sell special marker sheets... doesnt cost much i bought some the other day. THey cost me 5$ canadian for a tablet of 50 sheets. The sheets are REALLY REALLY thin and absorb the marker very well. Doesnt even go through and doesnt even bleed. The brand of the paper is called Paper for Prismacolor markers. Heh but i have Tria markers but it works just as good. im sure you could use illustration boards to use them. All i know from experience is that you cant use normal copying paper if your looking to get a good finish. If you just want to doodle with markers just take normal paper but make sure you have a few peices underneath of paper cuz it will for sure go throught at least 2 papers....

Great job Skeezer, you are getting rapidly better with each post. It's very cool to see. You definitely have a knack with marker rendering, you picked it up rather quickly. My ONLY suggestion would be to perhaps work on tightening your technique a bit more, it looks a tad bit sketchy. But, you certainly have all the fundamentals and an ability to learn at an alarming rate. I look forward to your next post ...

hey guys,

elam: Thanks, you're right about the perspective. I got caught up in the spontinatey and lost all perspective, haha

steady: I'm blessed with 4 to eight hours to draw everyday, then again I'm at school from 10:00am to 10:00pm almost everyday. The average class day is only about 5 hours. Lots of lab and free drawing time.

The Incredible MCG: Thanks, I guess I'm really going to have to work hard.

TheMilkMan: I sure hope so

Rhomb: You're right about the arm, I noticed that shortly after I got home, out of editing reach, hehe.

Get-up Kid: I felt the same way. Mostly on the first one. However, that was a minute thirty sketch, that I spent 4 minutes coloring. It wasn't as refined as the others. I was doodling really quick to show Blitz the idea. Wasn't meant as a finished piece.

insomniac: I just use regular computer paper. With Prismacolor you can usually get away with one piece of paper underneath, instead of two or three.

Tree Merchant: Thank you very much. I will continue to refine my rendering. I hope my enthusiasm is contagious. You guys should feel it

Also, try "LetraMax" marker paper, I'm telling you once you do some ink/marker work on that stuff it's impossible to go back. It's usually got a bright orange cover to a pack of 50 sheets at about $10.

I like the fourth and third sketches very much BTW, really nice stuff, I just love tech stuff!
