Spiderman, Spiderman. Does what ever a spider can. Spins a web any size. Catches thieves just like flys. Look out!, here comes the spiderman. Is he strong? Listen bud, He's got radioactive blood. Can he swing from a thread. Take a look out overhead. Hey there!, there goes the spiderman. In the chill of night, at the scene of crime, like a streak of light he arrives just in time. Spiderman, spiderman, friendly neighborhood spiderman, wealth and fame he's ignored. Action is his reward. To him life is a great big bangup, were-ever there is a hangup, you'll find the spiderman!

I had some issues with it at first. I did some edits that sedated them a little. (Not entirely.)

This was drawn by J.S.Campbell. It was not inked. I did the coloring.

I'm really interested in your responces. Please say something. Espescially, those that do coloring.

Nice job seraphire. It turned out really good. I was going to color this pinup, but I don't feel the need to now. This is one to be proud of.

did spidy drool all over the bad guys?

since everyone else only said good stuff i will comment about the things that bother my personaly although i think the piece is totally excellent-
1)u had a week pinkish contour lightning on spidy coming from the button left. Itll look better if there is another light source from the opposite direction. If u made the main lightsource stronger from the upper left it could look even better. Maybe that was supposed to be done in the inking process u said u didnt do.
2) the contrast is not strong enough. If u had more darker areas it would looked more more dramatic. I think

but I still love the pic. Great line art and coloring (beside my pesky comments)

Thank you all for the compliments! I try to push myself.
The webbing was a challenge.

Topeira, A special thanks for the crit. I like to get them.

It is undercontrasted, in some areas. (Is that even a word?) The web especially... The problem, is the large number of multiple surfaces. If I was to push the contrast on a single person's face, for example, it would interfere with the overall contrast giving the ball a round shape. No, I didn't do that perfectly as it is... But that was the idea.
I thought the blue hightlight was enough. I'm not sure if a stronger one would help.

A.Buttle,
I hear that! Now I wonder how many people have it stuck in there heads now...

Chapel,
Please do it! I was thinking of messing around in the background. But I didn't. I was thinking of having the light source upside down, and painting in an upside down building and sky in the background. Or have it as if you were looking staight up at him. With foreshorted buildings, spireing above. Try coloring it. And go crazy with it. Do something original with it.

Ahh, a walk down memory lane. Thanks for the lyrics - never knew them in their entirety
I hate spiders, but like this pic! My only comment/suggestion would be to work on some of the shadows and highlights on the characters caught in Spidey's web and maybe Spidey's head. Some areas seem a bit flat (as I re-read, what topeira noted)

Overall, great job, Seraphire. Especially on the web
