OK,ya know who influenced this painting...Anyway, an oil painting I did 5 years ago for Wizards of the Coast. I scanned it from first generation print so the blacks got blocked up. Anyway, I may touch it up in Painter later on. It was a real pleasure painting in oils, painted in 2 days including slow drying time. Ed--

Oh mon, cool! Is the one at work the original? This one looks a lot brighter and saturated.

Yeah, the other one was original. Because its framed I'm unable to scan it. The one I posted looks little "posterized" since its few generation down. Yeah, "they" liked her butt, can you believe it? Post your G_____ sketches. Ed--

Well, i've gotz tons of drawings...but none i can share. I know...sux.

Ed: Post your G-String girl! Get the client to release the rights!

Okay, after GDC, some of my stuff will get un-NDAed...so maybe i'll post some then. I think GDC is in March....? And after E3...even more stuff to show...

And i'm currently working my "how i work" section...it's just going reaaaalllly slow....but it'll get it done....one of these days.

Vortex...hey man you got to do some art for your own enjoyment....your going to get burnt out just doing stuff for the man. Also that way you can post it for us to enjoy to! Ed post the damn girl!!!!

Milkman: I am having fun doing these drawings....even if it's for work; otherwise i won't be in this business. All the projects i work are fun....so i really don't feel like i'm drawing for someone else. And on the freelance side, i only pick projects that interest me. The downside is that i can't show any of my work. Yeah, i can understand someone burning out if they are drawing boring stuff...but the projects Blur gets for us are usally all very cool.

I try to draw stuff on my own...but time is the key. I work from 11-9 at Blur...then 10-4 on freelance. On the weekends i'm w/ my girl...so i really don't have time for anything else. Only when the freelance stuff cools down do i get any time...but right now, not happening.

Tho Ed is pressuring me to draw some pin-up girls. I'm up for that...haha.

Hehe, if the client you're talking about is the one I'm thinking of you'll never get the rights to show stuff this soon. Nobody I know outside of my company knows what I'm doing right now. Sheeit, they didn't even like our company talking with yours, isn't that kinda weird? Is that what you're talking about, Vortx, or is it another project? If it isn't...POST THE GIRL! Hehe.

Ohhh, you know what, Vortx, I think I just realized which girl it is you're talking about man...we all really liked that one, one of my favorites in the bunch...you don't have to post it now

. And yeah, some of your stuff looked like hookers, hehe, but we all really dug a lot of aspects of your outfits so they were included in our picks. And yeah, it sucks not being able to show off any work done here...they're pretty intent on keeping things on the DL though so I play along for now. At least I get sneak previews of yours and Ed's work

where are the replies?
It's pretty tough painting in oils
still have to manage this
I think the head is best on the pic
especially the cool horns
but I don't like the bottom of the pic much
