now less than boiling water and steep for 3 minutes. Strain. You can resteep the leaves. granate juice is quite a superfood. A steamy bath primes skin to absorb
I used to play, but then stopped paying Got to 32 Black Mage My dad has a 75 Black Mage, Puppet, and a 69-ish Summoner, not to mention all his other classes at 37 for Sub Jobs He's got over 290 day
Does anyone have any contact information for the best talent in Rio As we won't be going to Help or clubs to meet men or women it would really helpful to have prearranged some sessions with the best
44, I get confused when I think about a lot of different vehicles. And no, I'd never diss the .45, but it WOULD be 641 years old. Perhaps its just so great that they kept it in production. Si

That kicks some serious arse! The mean looking, axe-weilding mofo in the foreground is awesome. Although, I do have a small problem with the guys face on the far right, he looks a bit out of wack for some reason, but that's just minor. Kick ass...

your street-fighteresque males are wicked, wicked, wicked. if i was you, i'd change the faces of both the woman (eyes too high!) and the small guy on the right (nose pushed into the head!).

Very nice pic, good characters and all.
My only complaint is, STOP TRYING TO BE JOE MAD!!

Please don't take this the wrong way, I love Joe Madureira and his work, I even tried to emulate his style for a while. Thing is, there is only one Joe Madureira, and he is him. You are not. Why, you've even ripped off his signiature. Now that's just tacky.

Do yourself a favor, and experiment and find your own style. It's harder than copying someone elses, but the reward is much better. An artist is respected much more if they have a unique style.

Think about my advice and keep drawing. You are an excellent artist and must have some amazing hidden style somewhere.

Excellent pencils. I agree about the nose and all. Although in time finding your own style would be ideal, don't worry about it now. Hell Joe Mad.'s style is a take off of Jim Lee's, or at least it appears to be that way, and Jim Lee's was a divergance of someone else and blah blah blah. So basicaaly, many comic book artists do similar looks HAH!

nice pencil. the face of the girl and the guy in the lower right seems wierd. kinda un proportioned. the guy with the axe looks cool. i think his nose should be a tad bit to the left more.

Actually, Joe Madureira originally was a bit of an Arthur Adams ripoff...as was Jim Lee, but mix in some Frank Miller and Dave Gibbons. Lee expanded past those ripoffs though, Madureira adopted more of an anime style (American Manga...sigh) and then the complete glut of Lee and Madureira ripoff artists filled the industry.

I agree that your female looks odd. The muscle structure on the top Fighter (male) is nice though the bald guy on the right looks incomplete by comparison. I'd say work on the backgrounds more, and definitely find some reference on doing female figures and faces.

And yeah, it looks like a complete Joe Mad rip..but hopefully that will grow out as you find your own style. It didn't happen for Roger Cruz...but maybe...hehe.

Peter

Oh...and Jim Lee ended up being a J Scott Campbell ripoff in the end..so life's full circle

YOur picture is begging to be inked and colored. I think the girls face could use some tweaking, especially with the hair. That kind of triangular hair has been done to death over, and over and over...

First off I'll keep my signature I like it too much to dump it. If you think I look too similar to Mad! then that's your opinion. Either way I doubt I will for long, I'm still learning and finding my own path. I will not make a deliberate effort to look un-Joe-Mad, that should happen on its own.

Hmm.

Travis Charest had to deliberately try to be un-Lee...and it made him one of the greatest artists in comics IMHO. I don't know, kombosagi, but it seems like people are just trying to give you a bit of a push in a direction not to be just another ripoff comic clone. I think I'd be happy if people were trying to help me like that, not defensive and standoffish.

I was one of those people saying that it was nearly an overlayed Mad ripoff, but I allowed for the fact that you're learning by copying. I don't think get snippy with the guys who mention that even your signature is "familiar", is the way to win friends, or to improve.

And that's the point around here, right? To learn from critiques and understand what to do to improve, and what not to do so that we don't end up as hacks?

Of course that could be just me.

I don't think you understodd me well. What I was saying is that I'm sure my style would define itself of its own accord as I learn. If I draw consciously trying to not do something I don't think I'd enjoy it much, then what's the point. And hey I posted it here for advice so I'm takin ginto account what guys say.
