I created this image for this month's draw club. I'm just getting used to photoshop and it's stylus options...

Ah! The strength in this piece is how it is overall lighter in the upper left corner and then darker in the lower right corner.
If you were doing it over again I would go for even more of that! Not so much as a brightness/contrast adjustment but even WIDER light forms in the upper left and even WIDER dark forms in the lower right.
I spent a lot of time trying to see something in the picture, like maybe my eyes weren't adjusting right.

call me crazy (and u will) but it reminds me a scenn from species. the one where the alien vagely remembers her past when she runs from the train. if u remember that scene than u know the atmosphere is similar in that blueish hue and dark horizontal lines.

yeah, i've been inspired by giger, i tried to escape his influence a bit and go off on my own in this image...but he's entered my subconsious!
