yeah, color can be confusing, personally i like to pencil things in black and white...it gets you thinking about values and shadows without having to worry about an infinite spectrum of color...

Cool pic. The mouth and teeth seem a little strange, though, but the color is great.

Yeah, I suppose the mouth is a little too empty looking (and just generally badly done ). Like a gaping void leading into the never reaches of his head. Oh well.
