After I watched the tank-movie spooge recorded I scribbled and scribbled and finally this thing came out.
It hasnt any resemblance to spooge's tank but it started in a similar way (gradients/low opacity brushes).
I think now it could be some weirdo doom texture or something-
and second:
I posted this thing here in the insect thread but I think not many bothered to look there more than once, so here it is, a dragonfly:

ooh, pretty wings! I like the way the light refracts off of certain wing membrane. Cool! |

The Dragonfly is great! I thought it was a rendered model at first.

Ceenda seriously the dragon fly will pop out if you put a stronger shadow below the dragonfly. |

hydrid: thanks the wings were the most work of the whole insect.. alot of small lines and paths

TheMilkMan: i guess you confused ceenda with me? The shadow below the insect was just out of pure lack of inspiration .. i just slapped the poor dragonfly on a grey background with a cheesy shadow below
