i think you should shade the body to show that the baby's torse is turned away from us.
The baby has some sharp lines, and babies are normally tubby and fat, not sharp.
Try shading in between the vampires fingers, to show the distance between his fingers and the baby head.
I like it though.
it doesnt look like the baby's hand is conencted to the vampires body...
I don't like all the lines coming out of the vampire... are those for emphasis? You might be able to achieve the same effect with stray hairs |

NilreMK - WhOop!
strata - Yea , the thing is , I realized the hand was monsterous when I was working on it but I guess I was lazy, I was thinking "he's a monster , his right hand can be monsterous! heh.
napalm - yea , I wonder why I don't notice things like the leg being cut off when i'm working on it , I think I was just in too much of a hurry to finish it because I drew the hand too big and the image pissed me off, woo!
AlieN - I agree, I should have drawn the lines more boldly on the child , thanks for the advice. I've been trying to stay away from having to shade a sketch to improve it , trying to make it look complete with lines is more difficult but would make it a lot easier to color if i the pic was worthy and complete enough to be colored.
Thanks guys. |

jesus...
when i first saw the picture i stared at his arm and chest wondering what was wrong then like 15 seconds later it dawned on me "oooohhhhh he is holding a baby!"
i like the general texture of his skin and he looks very comic style influenced.
